Renée Zellwegger, Patrick Dempsey and Colin Firth have been busy filming scenes for the third instalment of Bridget Jones, but they’ll soon be having a bubbly time on set.

Guinness World Record-breaking bubbleologist, Samsam Bubbleman, has been hired by Bridget Jones’ Baby director Sharon Maguire and the production team to show off his skills in future scenes of the film.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk at the Specsavers Wearer of the Year Awards on Tuesday night, Sam said: ‘I’m so excited to be filming for Bridget Jones’ Baby! I’m heading down to the set in a few weeks, I’ve not been told what I’ll exactly be doing yet, but they said there’ll be a festival scene and that their building the site themselves.’

Samsam has broken nine Guinness World Records – including records for the largest bubble and fitting the most people inside a bubble – as well as holding three Blue Peter badges.

We hope Bridget ends up inside one of his soapy spheres!

On Tuesday, Renée was spotted filming scenes as Bridget for the third film in the series based on the fictional character created by Helen Fielding.

Though the first two films were based on Fieldings novels Bridget Jones’ Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason, this film seems to be based on her Bridget columns in the Independent, from 2005-2006, where our Bridge ends up pregnant with Daniel Cleaver’s baby.

Alas, Hugh Grant decided against returning to the role but it seems former Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey might be filling the chauvinistic void.

We’ve got a whole year to wait and see as Bridget Jones’ Baby will hit UK and US cinemas on September 16, 2016.
