Ed Sheeran: ‘Being in Bridget Jones will give me something to talk about with my mum!’

When Bridget Jones’ Baby hits cinemas next year there is one hot red head we’ll be looking out for: Ed Sheeran. The Thinking Out Loud singer has bagged himself a cameo in the hotly anticipated film (we’re still obsessed with all the location pictures) and at his Jumpers For Goalposts premiere, Ed revealed he’s a massive fan of the franchise.

“I’m excited, I think it’ll be fun,” he told heat. “Every woman I know loves Bridget Jones and so do I.”

When asked if he was using the role as a ‘pulling tool’ (great idea, by the way) he admitted: “It’s more to have a conversation with my mum at the dinner party!”

We bet she’s glowing with pride. He’s a best selling artist with an enormous fan base AND he’s going to be in Bridget Jones. Mum dreams made.
